The researchers who prepared this lesson invite you to submit some information that will help us determine how well we're doing.
We will ask you briefly to describe yourself. In addition, this lesson will include questions about your meteorological knowledge before, during, and after the lesson. If you choose to respond, your information will be stored in a database in order to help us understand:
1) who is using these lessons,
2) how much our users are learning, and
3) how we might improve the lessons.
All information that you submit is anonymous and completely confidential: it will not be possible for us to determine who submitted the information. You are not required to submit any information in order to use the lessons on this website. If at any time you do not want to submit information to us, just choose the "skip" button and your web browser will simply move ahead to the next part of the lesson.
In the future, if the general information that we've collected is scientifically interesting, we may present some of the results (for all our users as a group, not for individual users) in a conference or scientific paper. If so, we will post information about it on this website. If you have any questions about the study, please contact Dr. Parker via e-mail.
Thank you, and enjoy.
